Saturday February 27th the Dakarparty given by the Dutch riders from Team Honda Europe was attended by many familymembers, friends and sponsors. Tonny, Alois, Gerben and Mirjam told the audience about their adventures and experiences. Great for the people present to hear all this firsthand, and to have a look at the Dakarbikes still covered in the South American dust. The many pictures and videoclips from the helmcameras from Tonny and Alois made the story complete.
With this party Dakar 2010 is now completely behind us, and the team can start looking ahead. Alois, Gerben and Tonny won't be back in 2011, but Mirjam will take the challenge again. At this moment its waiting for news from organiser A.S.O. about their choice for 2011. Will it be South America(where for Chili the work on the infrastructure will have first priority) or Africa? (where the news about the visaproblems in Libya will be watched with big interest) More news soon about Dakar 2011 and the developments for the Team Honda Europe!
