Last Thursday the team delivered all the bikes, assistance truck, assistence 4x4 and the presscar to ASO. All European competitors were in the harbour of Le Havre, France, from where all the materials will be shipped to Buenos Aires. Just before midday the bikes queued up and at 17.00 hours all formalities were finalized. Everything went smoothly, some minor adjustments were necessary to connect the gps and irritrack system. Next the bikes were put in a metal crate, including protective foam, ready to go aboard. The truck and 4x4's are driven on board by the harbor personal. The 'Queen Sapphire' will arrive in Buenos Aires in about three weeks, all the vehicles can be collected from the harbour on december 29th. Followed by the technical checks on the 30th and 31st of december. Here the numberstickers will be added, and the boxes for the riders handed over to the organisation. After a short New Year celebration the rally will start on January 1st.
